My xfinity prepaid.
I visited a store today and was told that I could use my own modem with xfinity prepaid wifi and connect it by paying online. However when I access the site its forcing an entire modem package into my cart along with a shipping fee. I don't want this and cannot remove it.
Customer service sent a technician to my home. Tech says the connection is "excellent", coax and all wires good. Says the modem is bad. Also says they don't even sell these modems anymore and I need to call Xfinity prepaid to get an upgraded "dual frequency modem". On the phone with Xfinity prepaid, they say …Select the Account tab.
